I'm Amanda!
I didn’t set out to be an accountant. In fact, I graduated from William & Mary with a degree in Women’s Studies, fully expecting to go into social work. But life had other plans. A series of random events landed me in an admin role at a tiny CPA firm, where I learned two things: (1) I actually love numbers, and (2) accounting isn’t just about spreadsheets—it’s about people. That CPA saw something in me, encouraged me to go after my CPA license, and the rest is history.
Now, I use numbers to tell stories—helping business owners actually understand what’s happening in their finances without the Confusion, Stress, or Dread! I have a knack for breaking down complex financial concepts into normal, human language, and I create a space where people feel safe to ask questions—no judgment, no shame, just clarity.
For the last few years, I’ve been all-in on helping businesses streamline their accounting—implementing the right software, improving processes, and making the financial side of business less of a headache. My goal? Simple, clear, actionable financial systems that actually work for you.
